The community has recognized Leanna for her leadership and skills outside of the courtroom by appointing (Planning and Zoning Board 2002-2008) and electing her to serve as City Commissioner for the City of St. Augustine from 2008 through 2020. She served as Vice Mayor for the City from 2012-2014 and 2018-2020.
